Pleasure, looking forward to reading your work. I'm also new and hoping to establish a few regular reads myself. Can't help but advising you not to worry so much about the self doubt and criticism; at the end of the day it's putting work into what you enjoy, and the prospect of improving your work over time (hence the criticism), that should matter.
