Ooh, this is a tricky one! *Smile*

I actually am more a fan of certain types of free verse poetry than anything else, BUT, if i have to pick a form I would say various incarnations of the sonnet. My absolute favorite is John Donne's "Batter my heart, three-person'd God,"  Open in new Window. (one of his holy sonnets).

Now, if we're talking about a poem in a form OTHER than the sonnet, my heart has always belonged to Edgar Allen Poe, "Annabel Lee"  Open in new Window. and "The Raven"  Open in new Window. being my favorites.
