Two (writing-related) things I want to get done this week:
1) Finish Humor/Horror submission for QM entitled "A Trail of Blood and...Wait! There's More!" It's a story set in a large metropolitan area where a serial killer is on the loose, and the detective in charge leaves a little to be desired. It is due by the 25th, but I want it done by Friday so I can spend a little time fine-tuning it.
2) Finish Horror effort for II entitled "A Friend Indeed" which is about a pair of boyhood friends who went to great lengths to save each others rears as kids. As adults, the stakes become much higher in some cases -- especially this. Will the same degree of loyalty remain? This is due the 30th of June, and I probably won't finish it this week, but I want to be close, as we have a lot of family visiting the next two weekends which will be problematic (as far as writing goes).
If I get close to accomplishing those two things, I'll be one happy camper.
