I got most of the first story completed, and did some editing, so I'm calling it "close enough"...
As far as my second effort goes, it didn't. Like the proverbial mongrel dog, it sits there begging for attention, but there was none to be found -- this week, anyway -- for "A Friend Indeed" (aptly named, huh?)...
