IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!


As of today, July 23rd, The Daily (Weekly) Slice will be temporarily closed. I'll try to get it going again as soon as I can, but for the time being I'm just having too many problems and there weren't enough entries coming in. Yes, I know there were a lot for the last week of Round 1, but I still have to shut it down for awhile to get the page fixed and talk to Joe.

However, tomorrow I will read all of the winning stories from week 1 thru week 4 and declare a Round Winner. I will also give out points for the entries and the Merit Badge to the Round Winner.

Please have patience with me. I've never run a contest before, and I may have bitten off more than I can chew.

Trust me, I will get this contest going again as soon as I can.
