Weekly Goals

Well now for my goals for this week what did I accomplish?

1. To get the WdC N.A. Writing School ready for Orientation and for it to be opened. Orientation has started and soon will be at and end. School Starts at 11:59 P.M. Sunday evening... sign-ups will be left open for one more week. (got this accomplished, whew)

2. To go to the 9-11 contest finish up on that contest- (I did write about it) , close it down for judging, it is now officially closed as of now. judging has started.

3. Poetic Explorations Workshop: Well folks I really didn't think that I was able to think out side of my little comfortable box in which I write... to tell you the truth, when I saw all of those new names (for me) of different styles/forms of poetry it scared the blue blazes outta me! Seriously! Let me tell ya, I was in serious doubt that I could even do one and understand it, but guess what?! I'm not as brain dead as I thought! To my amazement...I was able to accomplish two different forms of poetry style that I really never heard of before...well I never really did pay attention to anything other than Traditional and Acrostic. I wrote for the very first time ever a Etheree and Tetractys form of poetry...weird, different? yes! But I have to say the difference and making me think of another form was ....how do I say...Great! I have only two to catch up on as far as entering this work shop two week late but I have no doubt that I will succeed even this, so this to my amazement, I really did succeed?! Wow, I am ...shocked! so yes! I can honeslty check this one off! I only have to do an Acrostic and Cinquain to catch up in this work shop...

4, Yes dear ones I did Review members this week...but I do not think that reviewing member that entered the 9-11 contest should count in the goals for myself this week, so that I cannot in all honesty check off in good conscious. It just wouldn't be fair...to me it would be cheating...oh not cheating you all, but cheating myself, that would be very bad.

5. On a lighter side... I did help a brand new newbie this past week during my weekly goal though. He/she was a very new newbie that had joined just that day, and he entered my 9-11 contest. He posted it wrong, and after ohhhh a maybe even dozen posting back and forth I was able to help him learn how to post in bitem format ...wow, yea! Now I just love it when I can give back to others what was given to me so freely and lovingly when I first came here.

I'll tell ya what, those handful of members, well they are simply the best on here. I will not name names, as not to get anyone upset if they were not mentioned...that would not be right either. I will be forever grateful though to all of those who have helped me and continued to help as others came along to help me as well. This is a really great place to write, and most of all, it feels like real family and home here, you know? Don't you all feel that too? I mean you just have to right? Helping a newbie...this cannot be checked at any time from me...this isn't possible. To me. that would be a definite Sin!

Many blessings to you all, and I have to fulfill a promise to a newbie here whom I said that I would go review in this forum...I apologize for the last minute coming by your port at this late hour, but I keep all of my promises dear one. You will learn this of me.

I did honestly try to review you grammargrandma & annx79uk but I had been away for some time and I myself, had forgotten what a grey case meant.
Sorry, I forgot it meant you have not wrote anything into your port yet, please forgive the over-site. I did go by your port as promised...I do keep those promises. Even if they are embarrassing
