I have a question?

My question is do you have to complete your assignments on this site, or can you do however you like, as long as you do them?
I personally like to write out my stories on paper and then type them out. So I was wondering if me writing on paper still constitutes as me fulfilling the requirements for the assignment. Thanks in advance for your help in answering this question for me.
