October Novel Prep Challenge

*pokes brain insistently* COME UP WITH AN IDEA, BRAIN.

i know i want my main character to be trans and non binary and use neutral pronouns. i know i want my main character to have DID (dissociative identity disorder). i know i don't want the story to revolve around their trauma, and obviously no ridiculous hollywood tropes about it. i think i want it placed in high school or college.

THAT DOESN'T ACTUALLY CREATE ANY SEMBLANCE OF PLOT THOUGH.

there has to be something there. *prods brain further* some kind of mystery maybe. adventure. something where their DID is useful in some way. i don't know.

*wonders if sleep will provide me with magical insight dreams* ...probably not.
