October Novel Prep Challenge

Sounds like you'll be busy!

Technically I should be spending the rest of October overdosing on Japanese vocabulary words (better to get as much out of the way in advance as I can!), but I've never been praised for my patience. I just want to start writing now.

My plot should run away some more. It's keeping its secrets pretty well at this point. There are places where I could dig in and get to know more, but I dare not do it yet... If I know every single little thing, I may lose interest, and I don't want to risk that.

I'm thousands of miles away from any workshops, but I plan to get together with a friend in the area and do some write-ins. I'm ridiculously excited to get things in motion.

Ugh. I should go and study Kanji now...
