I said 'All of the above' for question 2. Although I split infinitives I thought it was technically an error. Adverbs are generally frowned upon if there is a stronger verb. That said there are always cases where an adverb is needed. Is gender bias actually an error, or is it just a questionable stylistic choice? Technically if no person has gone there before, then isn't it correct to say that no man has been there before?
Thanks, Kat for sharing this with us. I enjoyed answering it.
