Notice Matt that I used the words “some may say” when presenting the idea that games may cause violence. I honestly don’t know. Just Google it and you’ll find the jury is still out on the verdict. There have been good examples for both sides. I read about a person who was valedictorian, multiple MVP on his soccer team and he played Grand Theft Auto regularly but not chronically. A prominent psychologist said that repetition is a contributing factor. If you do nothing but play violent games and you stop caring about the world around you, your social life, and your school grades and family, it may indeed incite mal behavior. I was amazed to find the quote from another prominent psychiatrist named Ryan Hall who said that it may take 20 to 30 to get a one-hundred percent consensus on the matter.
