My goodness. You've become quite the expert--and I'm sorry to hear you have so much trouble. My sister should be out of the hospital today if the neurosurgeons manage to come talk to her about her brain surgery options. She isn't discounting the possibility of regaining some peripheral vision, but it looks like the central vision is permanently damaged. She seems to be holding up in better spirits than most people would expect--but she doesn't want to have to do the brain surgery thing and be out of commission for months when she has three little kids.
