Weekly Goals

Well, I didn't do so well at keeping up with my postings here. That's not to say I haven't been working on my writing. I've finished the edits for Frozen Fire just in time for my publisher to send me the second round of edits for Sentient. Finished those. Then, the illustrator sent me the final versions of the pics for the first Boo and Oscar. Had to get those approved and laid into the manuscript to see it they worked. Those are all done now too. Now I'm ready to pick up Sentient II again. Had to go back and reread the whole thing just to get a feel for it again. I'm at the halfway mark.

The nice thing about breaks from a story, is it's easy to see where you went wrong, where the plot needs to change. Though I love the first half, I've always been lukewarm about my proposed second half. I've noticed that when I'm that way with my project in hand, that the rest of my writing life suffers as well. I've been negligent about my blog postings and stuff.

But, now I have a new idea for the ending and it's burning me up. I've already written another chapter. So, long story ... still long ... I'll be writing three more chapters this week and doing a posting on each of my 4 blogs.
