Yes, I use WritingML all the time in my word documents. When in doubt, I use my Notepad's scratchpad to check and see if the WritingML I wrote works. That way, I am not saving the test; but just submit/store to check it out. The good thing about scratchpad for this is that it doesn't permanently store and I am ready for the next tests. I have used other dialog boxes to do the check and just not hit the send button; but scratchpad is just right there (on every WDC page on top left hand side). One thing I have to do now is weed out all of the % signs in my old WDC documents because a couple of times in the past, I saved my document while working on a lengthy blog entry in word by copy/paste. When I lost it in WDC, and pasted it from my word program, all the quote marks and such came out in symbols. This was before the drag/paste document feature was made available. Well, often I hit the post button and the computer screen pops up with something like "page is old and can't verify your login". Sometimes I can refresh the page and get my writing back; other times, a load of work and ingenuity is gone! I am having to remember more often to copy/save stuff before hitting a "send" or "post" button. |
