Anniversary notification

I know of a few people who would really love this hypothetical tool - notification of friends' account anniversaries (and birthdays?) so it's easier to remember and spread the love. Maybe a list that you could add usernames to, and if it's easy then also to add their anniversary and birthday dates, then the site emails an automatic reminder (or even shows it in personal notifications?).
