Tammy,

Your post is probably not in the right forum. This forum is for posting our weekly goals on Monday and an update on how we did on Friday.

A better place for your post would be:

Noticing Newbies  [13+]
A warm welcome to our newbies; come meet new and not-so-new members of Writing.Com!

You can edit your post here and make it one for a goal for this week.

If you edit it, put Goals 4/6/15 in the subject line. You could leave all your words and add:

Goal: do one writing exercise every day.

And since we are on the subject, I have a suggestion for a writing exercise. It is from Dorothea Brande:

Keep a pad and pencil beside your bed. First thing in the morning before you do anything else, pick up the pad and write for a minimum of 15 minutes. Write ANYTHING. Just write.

If you get started and want to write longer than 15 minutes, you can.

This is the first exercise she suggests in one of her books.

If you post on the Newbie forum, I will tell you the second exercise she suggests.

Both worked for me. *Smile*

A belated Welcome to WDC!

BTW -- The StoryWitchress gives us each 1000 gps for posting our goals and our update.

Can't beat that!
