Noticing Newbies

Hello, everyone.

I'm Íris, but you can call me Himmel. I'm 23 and I'm a Portuguese girl living in Angola.
I won't lie and say writing was always my passion. I admire those who can do it and I always try to conceive the idea that anyone can be a writer as long as they follow two simple rules many times repeated by Stephen King: Read a lot. Write a lot.
I love reading just as much I love breathing and I'm much more comfortable reading other people's works that trying to write on my own. The words just don't come out when I sit down with an empty sheet. Do I have ideas? Sometimes. Do they stick? For a while, until somehow my mind tells me it is stupid and soon it's gone.
My English is not perfect, even though almost everything I read is in English. I hope I can learn a great deal with all of you and if my English doesn't bother you, also hope to review your works soon :)
