Noticing Newbies

Bonjour to the fellow lovers of the written (or typed) word! I'm DeWayne and I am looking to imlprove my writing skills, more specifically, to learn from others in a friendly community of writers willing to give healthy criticism.

I am a fan of all music, I am a fantasy geek, anime fiend, pc junkie, I cant go a day without chips ahoy cookies, drawing used to be my favorite hobby, I write and perform poetry, and I am a firm believer in the chicken coming before the egg. I hope to learn with and from everyone that I interact with, but most of all, I hope that I used this message correctly in introducing myself. ^_^
