Noticing Newbies

Hello everyone :D :D :D
I've been active for awhile now (a week today, precisely) but I always like to meet fellow readers and writers, so:
I'm here because I love writing and I love to review other authors that also works as a way of improving my writing skills.
For now I don't have any specific hopes and dreams and I think that, curiously, that's what keeps me going. I write as I go, I'm not good with setting a goal and work toward it because I get too worked up about it and usually give up halfway. I just write for pleasure, mostly. I've never fed the classic dream of becoming a bestseller author.

My writing style is narrative and I always like to write things in a way that should resemble a memoir. I focus on being realistic, approaching subjects that are close to home and aim toward letting the readers know that any little and trivial thing can be turned into something interesting, depending on the perspective that is at use. I usually follow the rule: There's more to something than it meets the eye.
