Welcome to Writing.com, Sara - back on WDC ! You are in the right place, that's one thing I know for sure. Writer's block - I've battled this myself in the past. I've found that the best thing to do when you feel you have it is - write about it. Talk to the "block." Tell it things. Tell it about your day. Tell it that you know that it's trying to prevent you from writing...As you begin to do this - just start writing about things in the room you're in. Then begin to stretch the truth about them. Such as: "Right now, I am sitting at my desk - the fan is blowing in my face and it feels like I am sitting at the edge of a tall cliff with a slight breeze in my face. There is a light to my left - I am not sure if it's my desk-lamp or a lighthouse. Perhaps I will glance over there and make sure." See...that's ridiculous stuff but it will get the juices going. My best advice, above all, is to never announce that you have it. That only gives it power. Hey, check out "Writing.Com 101" . That's a great place to start. All the best to you and your adventures here. If you need anything, feel free to ask me directly or head over to one of the many forums. Some good forums are the ones listed at the top of this page.
