So, I joined the site way back in '08. However I didn't get serious about writing until about six months ago. since then I've actually started that novel I always meant to start and cleaned up a few of my old short stories. Now I've run into the problem of beta readers. I have friends and family, but I keep getting the "it's great!" line. I'm looking for good constructive criticism in my writing. I really want to take my writing to the next level and I don't feel like my personal network is getting me there.
On the other hand, I may not know a lot, but I've learned a few things in the last six months and I'd like to pass what little I do know on to others. I know that the best way to learn is to teach. I look forward to reading and critiquing others work as well as having my own work read.
