Noticing Newbies

Hello,

I've been here for a little over a month.

I must admit I was a bit overwhelmed when I first stumbled upon WDC, but it's getting better with time.

I've been writing for years, but I never really had a platform to post my work and receive feedback. This is why I am all the more grateful to be here.

Now, to introduce myself, I am a 25 year old student of psychology, trying to find a way to keep my passion for writing alive amidst a raging storm of commitments and studies.

So, let me just offer many thanks to all of you for making us newbies feel welcome, and a lot more thanks for all your feedback and support.
