Noticing Newbies

Welcome Muaddib ! Dune fan, by chance?

I'm going to second what Inkslinger said about "The Newbies Academy Group"  and "Newbies Academy Registration - OPEN"  - They are two really great places to get to know other newbies (and not-so-newbies) and learn how to navigate WDC. There's always a lot going on here and it can get very confusing and overwhelming at first. We have a few fun activities going on right now and have our own review request forum where you can post things you'd like feedback on and also find other newbies to read and review yourself. Lots of great people there (poets, too )

I, myself, am working on my first novel. Congratulations on publishing! I hope to do that eventually I have to say I've learned so much here at WDC about writing and I've met so many helpful and supportive people.
