The polls are 100% anonymous, so you can vote for your own characters, no one will ever know. *Wink* The only thing you can't do is solicit votes for your entry specifically.

So saying 'Vote in this poll!' is fine but saying 'Hey, go here and vote for my story!' is not so great.
