Hi there.

Welcome to WDC!

I came here to focus on my longer stories too - though mostly in the attempt to cut them into some sort of tidy! However, I've been hooked on short stories lately. But I have discovered that learning the short-story craft (including adhering to a word limit) has been beneficial whenever I've found time to edit my novels.

This contest isn't open at the moment but it might be something for you to try out once you start with those longer items:
