Noticing Newbies

Hello, Cadie Laine - Happy 24th WDC! . Of course I can.

When I mentioned that, I was thinking about a few stories I wrote in high school. They were first-draft-and-done type of stories(and not written well) but that was due to laziness and inexperience. My main point is that I got the ideas from my journals from a year prior to that. Basically I just created a few characters - used a few life experiences I had written about as story ideas or sub plots, and wrote around them. You won't have an entire story hidden in a journal but I am sure if you look through them, take some notes and brainstorm for a bit - you could have a nice bowl of ingredients to work with.

Then, the fun begins - you get to figure out which ingredients work and which ingredients go to the dog's food bowl.

Just take some ideas, stretch them, rewrite parts, exaggerate, etc.
