Hi Barbara. Welcome to WDC.com. I’m pleased to meet you. We're so glad to have you join us. This is definitely a creative community. Believe it or not, I put my pen down for 23 years before I picked it back up in 2000 and I've been writing ever since. I'm a formalist poet and have been a member here for six years. I've made some good friends since joining and I'm sure you will too. This is a wonderful haven for writers of all genres and the members and staff are friendly and helpful. There are a lot of groups that are very helpful in getting Newbies oriented to the site. Some of these groups also hold courses/workshops in different styles of writing if you're interested.
