October Novel Prep Challenge

I found this wonderful app some time ago, and it's been so helpful to me I thought I'd share it!

Some of my biggest weaknesses in my writing are: an terrible overuse of adjectives and adverbs; a tendency towards run-on sentences; and frequent use of the passive voice. All you have to do is copy and paste a chunk of your writing into this site, and it will identify all instances of those, plus highlight sentences that are simply confusing or hard to read, determine readability, and give you a word count.

For those of you who tend to get bogged down in your own words like me, this thing is a great way to easily point out those troublesome areas to make editing that much easier.

It's not perfect of course, but I'm pretty fond of it!
