October Novel Prep Challenge

Several years ago, on some forum (I don't remember if it was WDC or elsewhere) I participated in a group conversation over details of how a villain would manage a particularly gruesome murder (I think the writer was working on a police procedural.) Near the end of it, one guy posted, "Hey guys? If we weren't all on the FBI's watch list before, I'm pretty sure we are now!"
