October Novel Prep Challenge

I do not edit in November. Not even spell check. I set up a book where I can put in the chapters. I copy what I have done at the end of each day into it before I go to bed. If I haven't finished a chapter it still goes in because... Well then it wouldn't be backed up and Murphy's law says that my file will be destroyed anytime I don't so I do. I learned this the hard way over the years.

I set it to unlisted on the rating setting so that it isn't easy to find. You can find it if you go looking but it won't be actually listed anywhere but on WDC. You can go a step further and even password protect it and make it for your eyes only. I typically just make it unlisted so its not openly advertised.

December is for editing and house cleaning. November is for writing.
