Noticing Newbies

Hi all,

My name is Tina. I live in Michigan with my dog and 2 cats, all rescues. I love animals and am a big nature geek. During the day I work in an office doing boring stuff. On the weekends I do some transcription on the side to make a few extra bucks and hone my English skills.

I've had dreams of being a writer for a long time, but I can't seem to get beyond the dream part. It would help if I knew what my niche was. I have many interests, but I'm not really an expert in anything. I took a creative writing course once but for some reason found it frustrating. The new year has me reevaluating my career and life, so I'm going to try again. I found this site tonight, and it looks like the perfect place to stretch my wings and figure it all out.
