Noticing Newbies

Good afternoon,
I am a newbie, only been onboard since December. I have only posted one part of a new story I am hoping to write and I have to admit that I even felt a bit queasy doing that. I am basically an introvert and I can play music (guitar), and used to sing, and can paint and draw pretty well, I have never done any of it for others to see. Writing falls into the same category for me. I suppose I am like everyone else. Everybody would love to say they are a writer, or a painter, but are unable or too unsure of themselves. Basically stage fright, I suffer from stage fright.
I have an article in mind to write but I believe it will be taken out of context and I will be viewed forever with the stigma I believe it will create.
I am also still learning about this website so probably handicapped that way as well...for the moment at least. When I see authors with 200 or 500 entries I am in awe. I have been looking around the site an have decided to get more involved so I am writing this.
