Noticing Newbies

Howdy!

I am new here but not new, as a person. I'm 29, yet again! Can you believe it? No, today is not my birth date...it was only a random, gibberish way to say "hello". Nice to be hear!

This site is very busy with links and tabs and all sorts of neat things but at the same time, a little overwhelming. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it in due time.

So here's my pitch...

I've started on my first novel and would love someone to review my first chapter but I honestly have no idea how that sort of thing happens here! Can someone hold my hand, er, mouse and point me in the right direction?
