Noticing Newbies

Hi everyone. I'm a communications professional with a lot of experience writing, but I haven't concentrated on creative writing for most of that time. I've recently started a new phase of my life, and now I get to write stories full-time, but someone else will get the credit (ghostwriting). I've come online to hone my skills, and I hope to start publishing under my own name soon. But to do that I'll need more practice and lots of critiques, so I welcome all of your feedback.
