Lived in the south most of my life. Except for the short time I lived in Monterey. They really made fun of my accent Then I moved to the mountains and my accent got worse. I also have a tiny bit of cajun, but I think the southern over-takes it.
I enjoyed the way you read your poem. And although I was expecting the last line to be drawn out a bit. I got the relation to the quickness and finality of it Most appropriate, that! lol
