Welcome to WDC! *Smile*

It happens pretty frequently! There are multiple item types that are meant for collaborative stories. Interactives and Campfires, for instance. There are also contests that require people to write with a partner and things of that nature.

I imagine that you're talking about a writing partner though, and yes, those happen on WDC as well. People set up a private forum, book, or blog that is only available to them, and from there, they write together. I have my own writing partner too... someone I met here on WDC with a similar writing style and aesthetic, though we write poetry together rather than stories. *Wink*

Anyway, the short answer here is: Yes, absolutely! I recommend reading and reviewing other authors until you stumble across someone whose style will mesh well with your own. Or you could just start trying to make friends here and get lucky. *Thumbsup*
