Noticing Newbies

          Of course you aren't like me. I'll keep this short since I doubt too many folks read these introductions. I'll begin with the reason I'm here.

         I made my life choices many years ago. Writing was a choice that made it to the final round but lost to making money and adventure. After years of travelling the world I reached a point of security and change. I decided that I would become that Writer I always wanted to become. I had earned a full ride in college and pursued a degree in English/Literature. I obtained the degree but life got in the way. Again!

         So, here I am, 58 years young and exploring the writing thing again. The plus side is that now I don't need to make it a career. I've got pretty much all of the career thing I want. I'm just here to write. No pressure. I just need to fill that hole in my life that has existed for ... forever!

         Let's move on to what I'm going to do here.

         Write. I'll transport you to places and squeeze your heart. You'll cry, laugh and furrow your brow in bewilderment. I'll spill my heart onto the page and wipe it clean with compassion. Somewhere along the way I'll invent new worlds and kill characters you've fallen in love with. I'll fail with a shrug and succeed with nothing more than a kind word of encouragement. In the end, because there is always an end, I'll wake up a yearning inside of you that is fueled by desire. Discovery will be the only reward I offer.

         My real name is Clint, but you can call me Glhad. That's short for Glhadiator. I doubt I'll get to know everyone here, but if you're reading this perhaps I'll get to know you.
