And maybe a notification for every poster in a particular thread. Post notifications sometimes get sent to the wrong person because someone is viewing the forum in the threaded view and responds to the last post in the thread instead of replying to the person they actually mean to be talking to.

Also, being able to follow a thread would be a great way to stimulate interaction in that thread/forum.

Seems to me...
