Observation (aka My 2 cents):
My 10" iPad only needs one click, and no scrolling unless I've scrolled down in the item to read it. Then, I have to scroll UP just a little to re-click (once) to get a new item. Glad you found your culprit.

If you're on a regular PC, is that double clicking because one of the Account Settings needs to re corrected? Using an Apple device will require double clicks here & there on WDC, but not here for moi...
