Welcome to Writing.Com, Jennifer. I remember my first days here, and how complex I thought this place was. Please remember one thing--everyone here is friendly and wants to help you succeed.

We all know being able to write is just part of the equation. You have to post your work and get feedback to improve. I know I'm not telling you something new. But please let us know if you need help posting your first story. Follow the steps listed in "Create/Edit a Static Item" Open in new Window. and you'll be on your way.

Oh yeah, don't forget to fill out your Biography tab. Many members use that information to network with other writers with similar interests. I look forward to seeing you around the site. Best of luck on your writing journey, Jennifer.
