The "Fantasy and Science Fiction Society" Open in new Window. is a great group if you are interested in writing science fiction or fantasy; there is a survey form for signing up on the page if you are interested. My contest "Thrice Prompted" Open in new Window. runs every other month (next round in August) and accepts both fantasy and sci-fi stories.

If you are specifically interested in sci-fi, then I recommend "Other Worlds Contest" Open in new Window. which is ran by my good friend A E Willcox Author Icon and the next round starts 1 July so you're just in time!
