Noticing Newbies

HI!

I'm obviously new here and after several hours of wifi-ing my computer from my phone have managed to upload the first 12 pages of my story.

Dang site said my story was 700 kb and only allowed 50 kb! Whole thing is a bit over 120,000 words.

It's a memoir (gasp! not another person with a memoir!) about moving from suburban life with 6 kids into a cramped camper trying to build a farm, and then being forced to survive one of the coldest, snowiest Michigan winters ever with NO electricity OR water.

It's not a "woe is me" type of book (well, ok, so I DO feel sorry for myself and cry, but the idea is to stay with dry humor).

It's not my first book, just my first book to be fully completed with 3 full edits from to back, ready to roll.

What do I do now? How do I get feedback, how does this all work? I can't upload my profile photo either! It's not showing up :(
