Noticing Newbies

I'm excited to have found such a site as Writing.com! It's my hope, that by joining a group so dedicated to writing, I'll be motivated to be more dedicated to doing my own writing. Writing is something I have always enjoyed and love doing...but it is often the very thing that gets put on the back burner while everything else gets my attention. Hopefully, by joining this site, I'll create a form of accountability so there will be NO excuses for not writing on a daily basis! I'll admit right off that creating dialog and keeping the pace flowing are my weaknesses and must be worked on. I'm looking forward to getting to know many people here, finding a few good mentors and doing a lot of reading and writing.
