Noticing Newbies

I wonder two things:
what's the criteria for Non-E, as I may have been much more conservative in rating it (a bad guy uses the F word once as the one and only cuss word, and there are no naked body bits)

If I was too conservative in the rating, can I change it? I didn't see any UI to perform an edit after I saved my post, but I'm still looking..

I could just as easily edit out one naughty word, as leave it in there and change the rating, but I'd rather not offend anybody.
