Noticing Newbies

Hello, welcome to Writing.Com. Just wanted to stop by and give you quick journey through the places on the site you might be interested in. I saw you posted a note in "Newbies Academy Registration - OPEN"  which is awesome, there are many members who will help you around the site at the beginning ( and later as well ). If you would like to upload some of your work here to your portfolio check the left side on your screen where it says create new item. You will see different items types available to different membership level. What you will choose is static item, fill up all required field and click to save and view. Then your case color will turn black and your writing will be available for reading and reviewing in read a newbie page  .

Also, if you look on the left side of your screen you will see browse by genre. Scroll down to find sci-fi genre and see what the others are about to write, share your thoughts and suggestions and I'm sure they will return you a favor for your own writing here as well.

You said your writing is specifically sci-fi genre. I'd also recommend you another awesome group by a friend of mine. Here's the link to it "Fantasy and Science Fiction Society" . Check what they are all about and email Matt if you would like to join. I'm sure it's great help when you have writers who think alike .
