well, everybody's different. I can crank out 900 words an hour, but that doesn't mean it's better than your 300.
Doubt is something some people struggle with. But like that little green guy said, there is no try, only do. You want to be writer, that's somebody who writes. So write.
Whether it's good enough, is conditional. Good enough for what? To win a contest? For an editor to choose it to publish? That's somebody else putting a ruler on you, if you let that define you as a writer or your work as the final judge of "good enough"
I can see by your post, that like me, you don't have a million mechanical errors, can string a readable sentence together. Therefore you can write. You've been validated.
As to sticking to it, that's up to you. I've been programming since I was ten, paid for it since I was 13, and 30 some years later, can't understand how the rest of you humans can't focus on something.
Just work at it, but don't make it a chore, find joy in the doing. Labore es ore.
