Noticing Newbies

Hello everyone, I'm a single mom, full-time worker, and animal lover. I was in a writing rut for a few years, but last year I was able to break through and get working on a multi-part novel... or a series. That's a great thing, right? I thought so too, but all the ideas are going crazy and about 250 pages in, I changed my mind on the plot and went 150 pages in another direction. I was having such a fun time letting the ink flow, but now I have to really decide on which way to go and I don't know what choice to make. So I put it down and decided to busy my mind in other ways: reading all sorts of genres, binge watching ... drinking.

So I'm hoping that joining this community will somehow help me gain some focus. It would be really helpful to get to know some of you and perhaps get some tips as well.
