Noticing Newbies

Sunny morning in NJ here as I take a moment to introduce myself. I'm off to work in mere moments so let's see how much I accomplish. I work in a small local museum on weekends, and it's often quiet enough to browse around on line. Looking forward to reading some work today, and though I've been a member since last December today is my first official foray into the world of Writing.com. Even posted my first bit, and I am anxious for feedback and critiques. I am a member of Scribbler's Den on the Steampunk Empire and while it is a terrific group of very friendly and helpful folks, not everything I write has a steampunk theme. I am on the staff of Weird NJ magazine, but fiction is my favorite arena! I believe an old dog can always learn new tricks, and I am excited about meeting fellow writers, readers and new friends. And I guess that's enough of an intro for now!
