Noticing Newbies

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Christina, and I'm participating in my fourth official NaNoWriMo this year. I'm a casual writer, though I am hoping to start building up my writing portfolio.

My main genres are usually Children's and YA. I'm also an elementary school teacher, so I spend most of my time with children and I remember what life is like during those young ages.

I'm currently in the planning stages for a more adult novel, however. The MCs will be college aged, at least.

I look forward to joining this community here in hopes that it will continue to motivate me and improve my writing skills.

In addition to writing, I enjoy reading, crocheting, watching football with my husband, and cuddling with my dog.
