October Novel Prep Challenge

How do you guys create your characters? Do you just totally create it out of your head or do you use Google image search to look up characters? Or do you just use people you know in real life?

It's usually a bit of the first two, for me. I usually have an idea of how I want them to look in my head and then use Google to kind of put it together for me so it's a bit easier to write how they look, since I have a visual. It's helped the last few stories I've been working on.
